Our Process

Our process

A disciplined route from first contact to closing.

  1. Sourcing

We identify assets through auctions, Tax Authority and court sales, and direct contacts.

Control: every opportunity is logged with its source and reference.

  2. Legal and technical due diligence

We review registry records, encumbrances, licensing, tax status and the physical condition of the property; for companies we review corporate records, liabilities and contracts.

Control: no bid or offer is made before this review.

  3. Acquisition

We bid or negotiate within limits set by the diligence, and complete the transfer of the property or shares in accordance with Portuguese or Spanish law.

Control: identification and source-of-funds checks on all counterparties.

  4. Refurbishment

We define scope, budget and schedule, contract independent contractors and subcontractors, and supervise the works.

Control: written contracts and documented progress.

  5. Sale

Completed properties are offered to real estate companies and estate agencies.

Control: transparent listing and documented offers.

  6. Closing

Deed, registration and hand-over, with complete documentation kept for each asset.
